well i went to town to pick up some plywood for the hen house, and stopped by tractor supply. They had another load of rabbits in so i got 2 more. I then came home and started working on the henhouse a bit and got the wall insulated and plywood up, then mounted the nest boxes and installed the roosts on the other wall. i need to make my door still so the chickens can get in and out, but i’m getting closer ….here are the pics

Just wanted to add some more pics of the hen house progress and show ya’ll the rabbits i got.  I made a trip to tractor supply and picked up some nest boxes, and other supplies and they had rabbits, so i picked up 2 to start with. here are the pics …

here are a few pics of some of the homesteading things i have been working on. I took the back half of my 10 x 20 lofted barn shed and turned it into a hen house for the 25 white leghorn hens i ordered. Today i drove to gatlinburg Tn and picked up 5 poultry layer cages i found on craigslist. I wouldn’t have driven so far but, the cages were less than half what a new one was, and one of these was even still in the box. Couldn’t pass that up. they came with water bowls and feeders too.  Here are the pics……

well i got the sink finally and got it installed. I also picked up some lumber to start the outhouse build,  i got the 2×6′s for the floor, and i also picke up a skid to stack firewood on. Here are a few pics…….

i finally got the wood stove all hooked up and ready for winter. I got the pipe outside all secured and the inside durock board all put up  and the inside pipe connected.  Here are a few pics…..

well it has been a while since i updated last so here is the recent progress.  Today i got the stovepipe all installed and secured on the outside of the cabin, i also got the water filter installed in line with the water pump and a few other odds and ends like my electrical cabinet moved and started. here are some pics….

well i got the countertop cut down to length, and i got the 12v waterpump installed today. I still need to wire it all up and finish plumbing it in when i get my sink. My next move is to get my electrical cabinet all setup. here are a few pics from today

well i got the cabinets stained and installed just gotta cut the countertop down and then mount my sink. I also am gonna mount the water pump today. here are some more pics….

well i finally got my bottom cabinets for the kitchen area.  I aso picked up the stain and polyurethane for them, and got the polyurethane to do the beadboard walls.i am gonna stain them this weekend and get them mounted, then i can hook up the 12v rv water pump and plumbing.  Here are a couple pics of the cabinets before stain….
